yes really – this picture was shot during a hiking tour in the woods near by the Sky Drive Lodge in Virginia in June 2012. Thes distance was 0nly 20m. First I want to change the lenses and mount my tele zoom but I was in fear that this nice bear will escape meanwhile. Therefore I used my already mounted 80mm lens. But this Black Bear was eating peaceful and very relaxed. Ok – this is critical even not having cubs with it. But I had the feeling that this indiviual is not interested in me – and I was right and took several pictures. Will go this week to France – Alsace Sud and want to take pictures of the rare Aspis Viper and of western green lizzard. But need perfect weather condition – sunny and warm – no wind. Thanks a lot for your interest on these picture. Will update you once I have new ones.
